I met Sarah and Paul on a late July evening in Beaumont Park. Huddersfield to do their engagement shoot. It's not long now until their wedding and we enjoyed chatting about their plans whilst walking through this stunning park. Sarah had sourced a dress the exact same colour as the red on the bandstand. I LOVE this colour and also LOVE how much it made the photos pop - they look so good I just couldn't not share them! There are similar colours at their wedding venue and I honestly cannot wait for their wedding day to come!

We started our shoot in the bandstand and then walked along the main path of the park. I tried out lots of my simple posing techniques with them - which really only involve a teeny bit of direction and a few silly games. It's just about finding ways that you feel comfortable when standing close together (probably closer than you would normally stand!). We ended our shoot with a few photos in front of the railway bridge. The park is particularly special to them because Paul's relative once lived in the park's lodges and worked in the park, so it was wonderful to capture some memories for them here.

If you're looking for a wedding photographer I'd love to hear from you!
