WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY IN SELBY, NORTH YORKSHIRE
A BEAUTIFUL SUNNY WEDDING AT YORK PAVILION
A small and intimate wedding with lots of laughter!
Katie and Becca got married in May at the lovely Pavillion Hotel, which is an old hotel in York. It was such a fun wedding and the sun shone all day long!
Katie and Becca got ready at the hotel, and the atmosphere was so calm. They got ready at different ends of the hotel so they didn't bump into each other before the ceremony. They then walked through the cute little corridors to get to the ceremony, again timing it just right so they didn't see each other.
The ceremony was an intimate affair in the main hall. Katie surprised Becca (and the rest of the guests) by wearing a dress instead of a suit. Her reaction was priceless and during the ceremony, Becca kept looking at Katie in disbelief
The reception was out in the garden at the venue. They chose Pavillion Hotel because it's near where they met and has a beautiful outdoor space. It was a small and intimate wedding, which is just what the couple wanted. They had a drinks reception in the afternoon and a photobooth in the evening (which was very popular!). They had a fab theme for the tables called 'we go together like' and included Mel and Sue and PB&J. They decorated the venue bright table names which matched their DIY invites. In the evening the in-house DJ had everyone on their feet, including himself!
Here's a little bit more about Katie and Becca...

Becca took Katie for afternoon tea at ‘lounge on 12’ at Manchester House. Katie is originally from Manchester so the view over Manchester during the proposal was special to us.
