WINNIE THE POOH THEMED WEDDING
A DIY WEDDING AT
NORTHFIELD HALL, HUDDERSFIELD
For Beth and Sam, 'Winnie the Pooh' by AA Milne was a favourite story in childhood. When it came to planning their wedding, they couldn't imagine having any other theme. They dressed their bridesmaids in yellow and red, and the groomsmen and groom wore red cravats. The reception was beautifully finished with yellow decorations and little bumblebees. What made it more complete, was a little woodland walk in Beaumont Park (not quite the hundred acre wood, but close).
Sam and Beth had been planning their big day for just under a year. They met in Huddersfield while they were both studying at University and got engaged just after graduating. They spent a year apart as Sam was working away, and their marriage was to be the beginning of them both living and working in Huddersfield.
The wedding took place at Community Church, Paddock, where they are both active members. The service was very personal to them, and was full of their friends and families, as well as their church families. Three different bands played during the service, all made up of people important to Sam and Beth, including Beth's parents.
Sam and Beth were such a lovely couple to work with, thank you so much for having me.
