Golden Acre Park and the Mercure Leeds Parkway Hotel, Leeds.

Joe and Zoey met whilst studying at University in Leeds. They both had part-time jobs at the stadium in different food stalls. One night Joe let three buses pass him, in the hope he could casually end up on the same bus as Zoey on their way home from work, and the rest is history.  Zoey is now a midwife in Leeds and Joe works for a road safety charity. They are just genuinely a lovely and fun couple to be around, and I knew their wedding was going to be amazing.

Zoey got ready in her hotel room with her four bridesmaids. It was a lovely morning full of laughter and, as three of the four of them are midwives, there were some fantastic conversations reminiscing of their experiences. Zoey was relaxed throughout and she was an absolute dream to photograph. Her hotel room looked out over some woodland and Golden Acre Paek beyond, and we were watching the rain clear as the morning progressed.

Zoey and Joe had a few hints of Harry Potter in their wedding. They had handmade candles with different characters on, including Voldemort. The sweet table included Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans and chocolate frogs.

After the wedding breakfast, Zoey popped on her wellies and we headed down the path into Golden Acre Park. The Golden hour sun was just beautiful and we were able to capture some beautiful portraits before we headed back in time for Zoey to throw her bouquet.  Then it was time for dancing, and after a gorgeous first dance, the dance floor was super popular with some amazing moves being thrown around.

Thank you so much for having me document your wedding Joe and Zoey!
