Rachael and Johnny marked my last wedding of 2017, and what a gorgeous wedding to finish on. They married in half term as both of them work in school settings. The house was really quiet with it being a Wednesday so they had the place to themselves. Rachael and Johnny wanted a really low key wedding, so they decided to have a small ceremony with their 13 guests and then afternoon tea. The smallness of their wedding didn't mean that they took a step back on the details at all - their were beautiful details throughout.
Rachael got ready at home, before travelling to different places for her hair and make-up done. I met up with her when she arrived at Holdsworth Hotel, where she was very calm but excited. Johnny had also been very calm, despite Rachael being a little late. After the short and intimate ceremony, we headed outside into Holdsworth House's stunning gardens for some photographs. Rachael and Johnny had opted to just have a few house of photography coverage, so we set to work on her group shot list before their guests headed inside. We then spent twenty minutes grabbing a few bride and groom portraits. The sun was just in the perfect position to cast beautiful golden light across the gardens. Everyone then enjoyed a beautiful Holdsworth House afternoon tea, alongside some informal speeches and a lot of laughter.
Thank you so much Rachael and Johnny for having me.
