AN OPEN LETTER TO ALL MY COUPLES WHO HAVE HAD TO REARRANGE THEIR WEDDING

Dear awesome people,
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
There is so much I want to say to you all. My heart is broken for you - all the planning, saving, hoping, designing, dreaming and (perhaps a teeny bit of) stressing and now the plans are having to change. I can't imagine the stress, especially on top of the stress of an already difficult situation. It totally sucks and please know I am here if you need a rant or a cry or anything. I will always be happy to chat about your wedding, to help you troubleshoot if things are having to change or for advice if you need help adapting your summer plans to a winter date.

I have to say that I am overwhelmed by all the love and support you've shown to be. When I realised what an impact this was going to have on my little business and my family, I was in absolute bits, but you have all been so compassionate and so so kind. Thank you for checking in, for still wanting me to be a part of your day and for checking I'm free before rebooking. You are all my absolute heroes and I am so so so proud to be your wedding photographer. I cannot wait for each and every wedding, whenever they will be, and I know they are going to be all the more filled with laughter and joy because won't we all be ready for the biggest party ever?!

As some of you know, my beautiful Grandma passed away last week. Grieving is difficult in isolation, but I've been thinking lots about the last conversation I had with her. She told me how girls were never asked what they wanted to be when she was growing up. All I keep thinking is how lucky I am that I've been able choose my own path and now have the most amazing job. Thank you all for making it the best choice ever.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
lots of love
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A xx
