Rachael and Ryan were married at Calderdale registry office and then headed to The Fleece Inn, in Elland. Rachael's family have always had events here and it is now run by her Aunt, which added a real personal touch to the whole day. The Fleece is a gorgeous traditional Yorkshire pub which dates back to Tudor times and was recently used to film some scenes from BBC 1's 'Gentleman Jack'. The function room looked beautiful dressed with fairy lights and vintage china and I loved being back as it's been many years since my last wedding there.

All forecasts had said it was to rain ALL DAY but amazingly there were only a few showers AND they came during the meal, which was brilliant! Speaking of the meal - Rachael and Ryan opted for a gorgeous afternoon tea by Tea with Rosie - definitely check them out if you're looking for a local caterer - the brownies were amazing! We managed to nip outside for some more confetti shots and a bouquet throw (my first in over a year!). It was too soggy outside for the lawn games, but luckily there's a little upstairs hideaway where the children (and adults!) really enjoyed playing with them.

It was such a lovely, relaxed and intimate wedding and an absolute joy to be a part of. Thank you so much for having me Rachael and Ryan!

Here's what Rachael & Ryan had to say about them and their plans:

Our first night away without our son, we'd been to everyman cinema to watch star wars and out for meal and drinks, when we got back to the hotel Ryan got down on one knee!
