Bradford Wedding Photographer - A Christmas Wedding

December 15, 2015

I love Christmas, I love weddings, I love photography, This was Bliss.

The wedding took place in the small village of Scapegoat Hill In Huddersfield. The wedding ceremony was at the Scapegoat Hill Baptist Church and the wedding reception was at Pennine Manor Hotel (http://www.penninemanor.com/).

On the morning of the wedding, there were gale force winds across Yorkshire due to Hurricane Desmond. There were times when it felt like staying horizontal was near impossible. The bride and groom had requested all natural photographs, and due to the weather all of these had to be done inside. This was no problem, because

Pennine Manor was dressed beautifully throughout with festive decorations and a warm atmosphere.

Rachel got ready at home, with the help of her bridesmaids and her bridal dress supplier. It was a lovely chilled morning. Her Dad was there throughout the morning, and I loved seeing him practising his speech ready for later.

The church was packed with the couples family and friends. The minister was incredibly welcoming and super lovely to all. The church had its 'hat on' - a cover across the middle of the gallery to keep the heat inside the church. It was so lovely to see the Christmas decorations up and the couple chose a couple of Carols to sing too.
